3 Cultists Arrested For Gang-Raping And Initiating 15-Year-Old Girl Into Their Cult

Three suspected members of the “Eiye Confraternity” have reportedly been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly gang-raping a 15-year-old girl and initiating her into their cult.

The Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi revealed in a statement released by the police command that the suspects were arrested on June 30 in the Ajuwon area of the state. He gave the suspects’ names as Daniel Njoku (a.k.a Agege), Damilare Ogundiran, and Adebayo Olamilekan.

The suspects were apprehended following a report lodged against them by the victim’s mother at the Ajuwon Police Divisional Headquarters. The complainant’s reports stated that she sent the victim on an errand to the Akute-Odo area in Ogun State but she was intercepted by Daniel Njoku.

Daniel was said to have dragged the victim to his gang at their hideout, gang-raped the young girl, beat her up, and forcefully initiated her into their cult. They also threatened to kill the victim should she inform anyone about the incident.

Following credible intelligence, the suspects were located at the hideout of the group in the Akute-Odo area, stormed the place, and succeeded in arresting three members of the gang.

Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to committing the crime and said that they needed more members to join their occult, hence their actions.
