The pastor who is identified as Doche was reportedly baptising members of his congregation in the Lante locality of the shores of lake Abaya around 4 pm local time when he was suddenly attacked by a giant Crocodile which reportedly devoured him as members of his church watched helplessly in tears.

According to borkena, Lake Abaya which covers an area of 1,162 km² is known to have a huge Crocodile population.

Members of the church are said to be devastated by what has happened while busy baptising at least 80 members of his congregation in Ethiopia.
Lake Abaya which covers an area of 1,162 km² is known to have a huge Crocodile population.
